Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F and spraying an 8-inch pan with non-stick spray.
Peel and cube the apples into small, bite-sized cubes, then add them to a large mixing bowl.
Pour 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 tsp ground cinnamon and 1 cup brown sugar over the chopped apples and stir to coat them all evenly.
Pour the apples into the prepared baking sheet.
In a small mixing bowl, add the topping, 1 cup old-fashioned oats, 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add the cubed cold butter.
Break the butter up with a pastry knife and pour the topping over the apples.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove and allow the treat to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
