Soft, spreadable and fresh candy cane buttercream

Ingredients

Frosting

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

Frosting

  • In a standing mixer, or in a bowl with a hand mixer, whip butter, powder sugar, cream, & extract for 2 minutes
  • Fold in candy cane bits
