Learn how to make chocolate covered pretzel rods with caramel! This easy tutorial shows you how to dip, coat, and set them without the chocolate mess.

Lay pretzel rods on parchment paper. Cut th
e homemade caram
el or store bought caramel (I use Peters) into chunks.
Roll the caramel out into a long snake.
Starting from one end of the pretzel rod, wrap the caramel snack around the pretzel rod in a spiral.
Melt the chocolate slowly using a double broiler or in 30-second increments in the microwave.
Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, dip the caramel pretzel in the melted chocolate.
Shake off all the excess chocolate. Scrape the bottom against the bowl and lay on the parchment paper to set.
Once set and dry, wrap or serve.
