Instructions
Burger Sauce
Add all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl (mayonnaise, ketchup, bbq sauce, pickle relish) and whisk to combine.
Smash burger
Place a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat.
In a mixing bowl combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
Seperate the meat into 8 even balls.
Working in batches of 2, place a ground beef ball on the skillet and press with your burger press until the burger is thin.
Place the tortilla on top of the flattened burger. Cook for 3 minutes.
Pick up the burger & tortilla using a spatula, sprinkle on a tbsp of grated cheese on the pan.
Flip the burger and tortilla, so the tortilla is down in the skillet now, right on top of the grated cheese (this makes the taco extra crunchy on the tortilla). Add a slice of American cheese. Cook an additional 2 minutes or until the burger is browned and crispy.
Remove, top with your toppings and burger sauce. Fold in half and serve.
