Ingredients 

  • 1 cup water
  • 20 oz canned crushed pineapple
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 1/2 cup jasmine rice

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized saucepan with a lid, add the 1 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup water, 20 oz canned crushed pineapple, 4 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 tsp fine sea salt and the juice of one lime. Stir to combine.
  • Place the pan on the stove top over medium-high heat and place the lid on top.
  • Once boiling, the rice should only take 15-20 minutes to absorb all of the water. Once it has, take off the heat.
  • Fluff the rice and serve warm.
